Hello from Cali

Hello to all,

We are finally starting to adjust to our new world, and wonderful addition to our family. Hailey is now going on six months and we are enjoying her every discovery. She has a great personality and enjoys laughing with us. She is very sweet, but in the teething stage and not feeling very well.
Cody is in the fifth grade and although struggling with his load of homework he is still doing okay. He is a very good big brother and enjoys making Hailey laugh at every opportunity. Currently he is not in any organized sports but enjoys many on a recreational basis. However, it is difficult for him to find other 11 year olds that want to play outside instead of on one of the many video game choices.
David is doing well also. He is a great father and is making parenting more enjoyable by sharing the responsibility. However, he still gets pretty queasy on diaper duty. He is doing great though! He is doing well in California, but of course misses his family and close friends. The weather is great most of the time so it makes up for some of it, but he definitely misses the seasons...especially fall.
Jennifer is enjoying being a new mom again. The eleven year spread has made it more challenging though. She is having a hard time balancing a full-time job, new baby, her homework and Cody's homework. However, she is also enjoying the challenge and couldn't be happier.
We are all doing well and will try to keep you updated better from here on out.
